Social Listening for AI Agents with MCP
Give your agent access to the same collected mentions your team reviews. Use it to investigate feedback and competitor discussions while keeping access scoped to your workspace.

At a glance
Connect an MCP-compatible agent to ChatterBeam to query collected social mentions, keywords, analytics, and alerts with scoped access.
Connect your MCP client
Use https://chatterbeam.com/mcp as the server URL. Compatible clients can discover OAuth; trusted server-side integrations can use a scoped API key. Follow the MCP documentation for your client's supported connection method.
Start with read-only research
Grant only the access your task needs. Ask your agent to list your projects, retrieve mentions for a selected project, and review analytics over a specified date range. Tool availability is filtered by granted scopes.
Ask for evidence with the summary
Example request: ‘Review the last seven days of collected feedback for this project. Summarize recurring complaints, link to supporting mentions, and explain gaps in the available evidence.’ The answer depends on your collected data and the agent you connect.
Control access after connecting
Review connections in Developer settings and revoke access when it is no longer needed. API permissions and project membership still apply to agent requests. An agent connection does not create additional source coverage.
Common questions
Will the agent see every workspace?
No. Requests are constrained by granted scopes and the user's accessible projects.
Does reading mentions start a paid scan?
Reading existing mentions uses stored workspace data. Collection follows the monitoring workflow and its account limits.
Put it into practice
Start with one product keyword, inspect the collected mentions, and refine your rules from the results.
